Mobile OS is the plat form on which several other programs can run on devices. It controls your mobile mobile device just like the Linux & the Windows control your desktop but it is quite simpler than our desktop OS as it deals more with the wireless version of the broadband & the local connectivity, mobile multimedia formats & different input methods. v     iphone Operating system (Apple) or iOS

Apple Company released its first iPhone in 2007 with the operating system iphone OS. It is renamed as iOS, in 2010 & is now supported by Apple devices like iphones, ipad & ipod thouch. This OS is supported only by Apple’s own manufracture devices as the company does not license for the third party hardware.

v     Android OS

      

      This OS is developed by Google. It is open & free software stack that includes many key applications for the mobile devices including smartphones. The updates of the operating system are available & are always under development.

v     Bada Os

The Bada Os is developed by Samsung Electronics in 2010. It is firstly used in Samsung Wave. This OS gives attractive features like multi-point touch, 3D graphics & of course download & installations.

v     BlackBerry OS 

The BlackBerry platform is popular among corporate users. This OS is developed by the RIM (Research in Motion). It includes some stunning features of with synchronization with Microsoft Exchange, Lotus Domino & other different business software.

v     Windows mobile OS 

Microsoft has also developed the mobile operating system for the smartphones with or without touch environment. Microsoft has also developed the windows 7 phone.

Beside above mentioned, there are there are many other mobile Oss. All of these can control the mobile system. Each of them has their own features. Symbians, web OS Java Me, Linux based etc. are some famous mobile Oss.

Due to development of the new & advanced technologies, mobile devices are becoming more & more facilitated & featured. And it is sure that these advancements will bring some great changes in life styles of the human race in near future.
