I know that you want to
escape from some of your facebook friends when you are online & in such
case you used to go offline until your friend goes offline but now when
shouldn’t do so because you can show you online only to your selected friends.
- Go to chat on the corner of your page

Click on it
- Just click on friend list

Click on edit
- Now you can edit as offline/online to your selected friend
